As UI designer I was in charge of building the interface guidelines, the UI kit made of foundations, components and icons. All components and their variables come with guidelines.
As it was an open source project I managed the external collaborations.

Styles
Components
The UI kit is made of hundreds of simple and complex components with instructions on how to use them.
The library is organized in category and subcategory with all the variations for each component (eg. primary, secondary, hover, disabled).

Icons
The icon system, as part of the UI kit, has made of Pixel perfect icons usign the material design grid to ensure consistency.
